Summerland summer scenes - paige and isaac
Summer was certainly slow to arrive this year, but finally we welcomed it with a couples photoshoot in beautiful Summerland BC. This is where I call home and not to be biased, but it is by far my favourite location for photography. So many beautiful areas and estates. And I was thrilled to photograph Paige and Isaac again. Its been a few years since I've had the privilege of photographing their engagement and wedding photos in Kelowna, so I was so happy to see them again and thrilled that they were happy to come to Summerland for the photoshoot.
We started off at my neighbours property that I've been drooling over for some time now. The textures and muted colours of the estate home is the perfect backdrop to gorgeous portraits. And of course having a gorgeous couple to boot doesn't hurt either. We had so much fun exploring the property and admiring the history of the home and artifacts. We're so grateful that the home owners generously shared it with us to enjoy! Next we whisked back to my place where Edna the Airstream was waiting for our next photoshoot spot. I love the light airy feel of the Airstream, which was a stark contrast to the dramatic backdrop of the estate. Its really hard for me to choose which look is my favourite, so I'm so happy that I can shoot both. We ended the Summerland photoshoot in our empty pool, which we have now filled up. It was a nice cool down at the end of a fun filled day! And the refreshing glass of wine on the patio at the end of it all, catching up with old friends was the perfect end to a perfect day.
