My advice for couples on their wedding day is to have fun, to truly enjoy their wedding day. You’re surrounded by your families, and you have your best friends in your wedding party, so use that opportunity to really enjoy the occasion. Riley and Mila truly took this to heart on their wedding day! It was all smiles and laughs and joy.
The wedding was all planned far in advance, but when the pandemic hit, all the original planning went out the window. The wedding guest numbers had to be slashed, new venues had to be booked and this was now going to be an all outdoor wedding. They fortunately were able to book the gorgeous Kaleden Hotel Park for the ceremony, followed by afternoon refreshments and delicious wedding cupcakes. It was a typical hot Okanagan summer day, so the strong breeze that developed just before the ceremony was welcoming in keeping the guests cooled. I think Kaleden, which is situated just outside Penticton BC in the beautiful Okanagan Valley is fast becoming one of my go to photography spots.
